The Kanchanaburi Death Railway

September 9th, 2007

My first experienced about the train tour on the route of Death Railway in Kanchanaburi province. This time, the train tour is not in my mind. I just visited the River Kwai Bridge to look around and walked on the bridge.

While I walked on the River Kwai Bridge, there is the train come to River Kwai Bridge station.  So we walked to the train and asking the train officer about the ticket for the route of River Kwai Station to the Waterfall Station. I think it is good to get a feeling of a death railway.

I grabbed the train and take approximately 2 hours to reach the Waterfall station. Along the railway trip, I found that the scenery is really cool. Here is the picture of my trip. It’s take from inside the train when it pass the curve of the rail.

Say hi to panda at Chiangmai Zoo

September 2nd, 2007

I went to Chiangmai so many times. Normally, I’m not so interested in Chiangmai Zoo until the panda came from China and shown up at Chiangmai Zoo. These pandas become now a popular landmark of Chiangmai Zoo.

panda at Chiangmai Zoo

The panda area is not allow travelers to use a flash when snap the photo of panda. Although Chiangmai is cold in the winter but other season is quite hot. So the panda area is full with air-conditioner to make panda feel comfortable.

The idea that bring panda to show in Chiangmai is really successful campaign of Chiangmai Zoo because the pandas can draw a lot of visitors both local and international travelers.

If you have a time to visit Chiangmai Zoo, don’t forget to say “hi” to the panda.
