Amphawa Travel Information
The Amphawa district is an important place and is much involved with Thai history from the Ayutthaya period to the early Rattanakosin period. Today, Amphawa district in Samut Songkhram province is one of the most important tourist attraction both for Thai and foreigner.

How to get there
By Car : Amphawa is only 71 kilometer far from Bangkok. You can take Rama 2 road until the 63rd kilometer, then take the bridge and go to the city of Samut Songkhram. Just follow the sign to King Rama 2 Memorial Park or Amphawa. It will take approximately 6 kilometer from the city of Samut Songkhram.
By Train : From Wong Wien Yai Train Stration to Mahachai Train Station. The take the boat to cross Tha Chin River and then take a train from Baan Laem Train Station to Mae Klong Train Station. You can call Wong Wien Yai Train Station at (+66) 0-2465-2017 and Mae Klong Train Station at (+66) 0-3471-1906
By Bus : The Transport Co., Ltd. services Bangkok - Samut Songkhram buses daily from the Southern Bus Terminal on Baromrajajonnani Road. Call at 0-2435-5031 for air-conditioned buses and at 0-2434-5557-8 for non-air conditioned buses.
