From time to time as chefs move around. The Royal Cliff maintains a consistently high standard that has won it many prizes. Benjarong (in the Royal Wing) also merits a special mention. The Dusit Resort has risen like a splendid phoenix from the remains of the messy, muddled Grand Palace Hotel. During our visit, extensive plans were in the making for the hotel’s various restaurants; knowing the flair for food shown at the Dusit group’s Bangkok property, we eagerly await the result in Pattaya. For those who are fond of Chinese food, we recommend the Pattaya Palace’s Golden Lotus Restaurant for lunchtime dim sum and the Montien Pattaya’s Marco Polo for dining a la carte.
